EndNote® Citation Management Basics Online

With EndNote X9®, students, faculty, staff, and other members of the N.C. A&T community will learn how this desktop-based citation management software can reduce the time and effort needed to produce a reference list and/or place proper in-text citations in a paper for a class assignment, Master's Thesis, PhD Dissertation, journal article, and/or grant proposal.  Specific skills include:

  • Importing & saving citations from databases and then organizing these references.

  • Attaching PDFs to these citations.

  • Inserting citations directly into word processing software using one of over 6,000 citation styles.

  • Exporting from EndNote to create a "Quick Bibliography."

Under current software licensing arrangements, members of the N.C. A&T community may receive one copy of the EndNote® installation software (Mac or Windows) for home use.  All learners, please email teleha@ncat.edu or ask@ncat.libanswers.com to ask how to download the installation files through BlackBoard. (Approximately 75 minutes)
